Hop to it and make plans for the entire family this Easter holiday in Chicago, New York or West Hollywood.  Each city hosts unique events for kids including egg hunts, craft sessions and festivals. View our top family-friendly selections for celebrating Easter this year.

One of the best Easter events for families in Chicago can be found in the Bucktown neighborhood. Every year local play-space Little Beans Café hosts an event with an egg hunt, music, pizza and arts and crafts.  Happening on Saturday, April 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. tickets are $35 for one child (parents are complimentary and the pizza is “all you can eat”) and siblings are $25 each. New York
A spring New York tradition is the annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival on Sunday, April 16. The tradition began in the mid-1800s when high-society ladies would model their Easter outfits after church by walking on the street outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  The tradition continues today with outrageous millinery including ten-foot hats, bonnets with live birds, and more. The parade is for all ages and goes down Fifth Avenue from 49th to 57th streets. Click here for more information.

West Hollywood
The Los Angeles Zoo allows families to experience an egg hunt while watching animals go on one their own. At the LA Zoo’s annual “Big Bunny’s Spring Fling” event series, happening April 14-16, zoo animals receive their own Easter baskets with yummy treats inside, while kids can indulge in petting live rabbits, face painting, bunny ear crafts, musical entertainment and, of course, pictures with the Easter bunny.
