Eat Fresh: Chicago’s Best Farmers’ Markets
There’s no better time than summer to indulge in farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Not only does seasonal, organic produce offer a bevy of health benefits, but it also tastes much more flavorful than what you’d find on supermarket shelves.
A bustling urban environment like Chicago may seem far removed from rolling green pastures, but the fact is that even city dwellers have access to the best local fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and other culinary goodies in the area. The James is committed to fostering optimal health in the community and guiding you to wholesome, delicious food though our Urban Wellness program.
To inspire you, we’ve curated a selection of some of the best farmers’ markets that Chicago has to offer. Whether you’re snacking on a ripe, juicy peach or throwing together a salad of crisp mixed greens, you can feel confident that you’re savoring the freshest food available—and supporting local farmers in the process.
